Greetings from Dallas, Texas! I moved here in July to attend Dallas Theological Seminary to pursue a Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling. I wish I had the opportunity to sit down with you personally to share this story of God's faithfulness that brought me here. It's been a long road but the Lord has been so good. To finally embark on this journey is a dream come true.
The goal of this degree is to become a licensed counselor. The classes I will be taking at DTS focus on 3 general areas: Bible Exposition, Systematic Theological, Counseling Theory and Technique, and Licensure Preparation. If I attend each semester full-time, the program is about three years in length.
As the daughter of a wonderful pastor and someone who has served for years in full-time church work, most recently at The Lighthouse Church, I know what ministry life can be like. Over the years, in my interactions with people from various walks of life, I developed a greater burden for others to experience Christ, to know their identity in Him, and to walk in His healing and freedom.
One of the dreams of my heart is establish an organization with a specific focus to refresh, restore, and renew men and women in vocational ministry, along with their families. Biblical counseling is a vital piece. With the vision He has given me for the future, a degree in counseling is not only beneficial, but necessary. I consider it a great privilege to receive an education from DTS and to take what I learn here to counsel and minister in the years ahead.
As you may imagine, there are many fees involved in pursuing graduate work. The estimated cost at DTS each year is roughly $30,000. This includes tuition, books, rent, health insurance, and basic living expenses. I am thankful for a job with discounted tuition and benefits. However, what I make does not cover all of my expenses. With support, including scholarships and financial partners, I will be able to fully cover the costs and focus more on my studies.
As I make this transition from ministry life in New York City to student life in Dallas, I invite and ask you to participate in it with me. Will you partner with me as I seek my degree at DTS by joining my support team financially and prayerfully? Will you invest in my future ministry by helping me earn this degree and training that will better equip me for God's future work?
There are a few ways to partner with me on this journey:
PRAYER SUPPORT This is a faith adventure and while I have peace that God led me to this point and will continue to keep me, I am aware that needs will arise - spiritual, physical, emotional, financial, relational, etc. I ask for your support in prayer as I enter this brand new season. It is not one I can do alone. Your prayers are vital in this journey. I need you in my life!
FINANCIAL SUPPORT Quite a number of people have so kindly reached out to me to see how they can help me in this new chapter. Thank you! I am blown away by your concern and generosity and want to share with you some opportunities to partner with me on this journey financially. (Please note these donations are not tax deductible).

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and for considering this request. You are all very special to me and I am truly grateful to have each one of you in my life! Please let me know how I can be praying for YOU! Every other week, I will be gathering with a few other people to pray for our prayer and financial partners. It would be an honor to lift you up in prayer before our Lord. Please send your requests!
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)
With much love,
