Sorry I've been MIA here. I cringe when another blog-less day passes by. This week has been busy, crazy, and tiring. And then - the biggie - my computer is struggling. It's super slow and frequently shuts off at random. I'm not going to lie; it's been frustrating. What could take 20 minutes becomes hours sometimes.
Now, this laptop doesn't really owe me anything. I prayed it would stay working until I finished school and it did. Here I am a year later and it's still going, which is a blessing. I try to remind myself of that every time I yell when it's shuts off (which is pretty often).
Just about everything that I have on my plate requires me to use my computer, particularly and especially my writing. (I am writing this post from my phone). I know God has called me to write in this season and has given me assignments with a deadline so I know He'll give me the grace to persevere.
Aside from all the other many needs I am trusting the Lord to miraculously provide, I'm believing He will somehow provide a new laptop. God's called me to write and that requires a computer. And I'm learning more and more about the importance of being specific in my prayers so I'm asking for a MacBook Air. :-)
Until then, I am thankful that my dinosaur Dell is still going. Something is better nothing. All that to say, in the busyness (and scorching heat) of this week, my time to blog has been limited and I just don't have the energy to deal with my lagging machine. (Thank God for iPhones!)
pressing on toward the goal,
P.S. My apologizes if the format of this post is crazy. I'll fix it later if necessary.
