Exodus Cry is an organization committed to the ending of human trafficking through prayer, awareness, and reform. They have put together a documentary, Nefarious, which I've heard tremendous things about. Several people I know were able to see it and said it was powerful. Last year the Nefarious film came to New York but I missed out on the opportunity to see it. I recently learned there will be screening in New Jersey on Saturday, May 19th which I will be attending. If you are interested in viewing this film, there are locations throughout the country that have a one-night screening. Reserve your free ticket through this website...

I'd love to get a local group together to go see Nefarious in May.
I believe it could be a great way for peoples' eyes to be opened and really catch the burden about combatting human trafficking. One of the desires of my heart is to have a group of people gather on a regular basis to pray for the needs across the globe, specifically those enslaved in human trafficking. If you are in the NYC area and are interested in joining a group of people to see Nefarious and/or participate in a prayer meeting of this nature, send me an email. I believe that as we raise awareness about the dark reality of slavery (both domestically and internationally) and commit to calling on the name of the Jesus for their freedom, God will move in power.

"If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday." - Isaiah 58:10
