Back in the Blogosphere

The break is over and I must admit, I am glad. I have missed blogging! This little time away has shown me just how much I love it here. Really and truly. The new week has begun and I’m jumping right back into the same weekly blog flow as before but with another addition to the week – Missions Mondays. On this day I will highlight a particular person or ministry that is somehow related to missions. I'm praying it will somehow be an encouragement for those I'm writing about but also that it would challenge us here to be more mission-minded...

I long for the day when I have the means to support many missionaries financially. Unfortunately, it’s not that season. But I can support through prayer and also writing so that others become aware of what’s being done around the globe for the Kingdom. My heart is that maybe a reader may catch a burden to pray for kids in India, or travel on a short-trip to Ecuador, or write a note of encouragement to a missionary in Thailand, or sow a monetary seed into a work being done in Uganda … all for the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It would bring me great joy to be used as an instrument in that way.

For the remainder of the week, I’ll continue with the same schedule as before – Testimony Tuesdays, Throwback Thursdays, and Saturday Shout-outs. Also, I plan to include some guest posts in the upcoming months so you can hear from someone else (and not get bored with only me!). Stay tuned! That reminds me, see that blogroll on the right? Everyone on that list is someone I know personally. Check out their blogs! My Dad is peace which transcends. Stop by and show him some love. He’s fairly new to the blogosphere and an awesome writer (I’m not just saying that because he’s my Dad!)

Oh, wait! One more thing! If you haven’t already done so, take a trip to pressing on toward the goal’s Facebook page. I’d love to hear from you over there!

Anyway, that’s all for now. Until next time… ;-)

pressing on,
