I was looking through old blog posts to see what I'd share this Thursday. I came across something I wrote in 2008, a year after my special friend, Pia, went home to be with Jesus. It's so hard to be believe it's been five years since she left us. I remember, years ago, she gave me the devotional, Streams in the Desert by L.B. Cowman. I went into my room and pulled it off the shelf so I could see what she wrote inside. It brought tears to my eyes to read her words and remember her...
Pia Campos was an amazing woman and friend. She was so radiant and full of the love of Christ. I am so thankful for the years I was able to know her. I thought it was appropriate to share Pia's post this week and remember the special friend that God blessed so many of us with.

"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
