Confessions of a Backslidden Blogger

Tonight I repented. I faced the fact that it’s been over three months since my last post. I’ve wanted to write for the longest but it’s been crazy busy, or my brain has just been straight up fried. Every time I read another friend’s blog, I felt so horrible. I knew I need to stop the excuses and blog already. And there’s no time like the present.

You probably won't find this post to be anything gigantic or profound, I just knew I need to stop standing on the edge of the blogging pool, dive in and get back in the writing flow. So here I go…

For those of you who aren’t already aware, things have changed rather drastically to say the least, but it’s all awesome change. God has opened some wonderful doors and I am truly thankful. There are dozens of things I’d like to share, but for right now, I’ll just fill you in on a few of the major events that have taken place since June 15th.

• I faced my fear of the ferris wheel at Navy Pier
• I got my braces off
• I moved back to New York

Big stuff, right? Who would've EVER thought I'd come back to New York? (not me!) Like I mentioned, there’s a lot to share, but for now, I’m going to sleep. But I’m back. For real! And I promise it won’t be 3 ½ months til my next post! :-)
